Hello family and friends!
I may be a tad late in saying this, but Happy New Year! I hope that your holidays were wonderful and filled with joy and love, and that your year has gotten off to a great start. A small update is warranted, with a bigger one coming soon!
As many of you know, last year was a big year for me. I moved into a wonderful new home and area, and am now in south Everett. But the best part, was that I made this move with my wonderful new husband, Randy, along with my two youngest kiddos, and all of our furry family members. 2015 was a great year, and 2016 is headed into being another year that is just as wonderful. You will see that my business name is now Doula Care by Sindea, and I have a new logo. Most folks know me by the spelling of my first name, and since I have a new last name (Kirk), it was a great time to change my business name.
For my photography clients… Before long, my new site and business name shall be revealed (finishing touches on the new site are happening now)… I will be taking my photography galleries and information to a site of it’s own, and this site will be dedicated to all things doula, whether birth or postpartum. I have also switched to in person ordering sessions, in order to better meet the needs of my photography clients. I have a beautiful office on the property of my home, and after your session, we will schedule a time for you to come and see your images in person. This will streamline the ordering process, and help you to better make your selections, along with being able to see the different products and options available, right at your fingertips. This also gives us a chance to continue a positive photographer-client relationship, as I truly enjoy getting to know each and every one of you.
For my doula clients… As you know, I had been in a partnership model practice for the last couple of years, and while it was a great run, I have come to the fact that I like to be able to get to know my clients on a deeper level, and so I have returned to my former way of practicing, which is as a solo doula practice, with wonderful, dedicated backup. My backup is the wonderful Debra Shelden, that I have worked with for over 14 years now, and am happy that we are able to continue backing each other up! I will still be offering birth photography, either as an add-on to birth doula care, or on it’s own.
Stay tuned for more updates, and please be patient as this site goes under some great transformations!
